I’m Nigel Christian, aged 36, living in Birmingham, England.  I am a sociology doctorate, amateur street photographer, father of three children and curator of three tumblrs.

This city called Earth combines my sociologist’s interest in theories of urbanisation, globalisation and post-nature with my photographer’s love of street portraiture and the hard beauty of the built environment.  Submit to it here via flickr.
